Minimum Knowledge Requirements

To practice as a professional
geoscientist in Ontario, the Canadian Council of Professional
Geoscientists (CCPG) recommends a 4-year bachelor of science
degree in geoscience awarded by a Canadian university, or the
equivalent as assessed by the APGO Registration Committee, as
the core minimum knowledge requirement. Click
