Well Wise book publication by Member of APGO

Mary Jane Conboy PhD., P.Geo., and hydrogeologist, has just published a book entitled  "Well Wise A Comprehensive Consumer's Guide for Private Wells" and it is available through the website www.wellwise.ca.

Mary Jane wrote to APGO Field Notes " I was one of the 4 panel members for the MOE Sustainable Water Well Infrastructure Exert Panel.  Simon Smith also contributed a great deal of technical information to two of the chapters.  The panel presented the report to the Ministry of Environment in a public forum on March 9th, 2006. The inspiration and immediate action on this book was a direct result of the SWWI expert panel. The intended audience for this book is the average well owner.  I take calls on a daily basis, answering questions on water testing, well maintenance and environmental issues and we have tried to cover the topics that most well owners would have an interest in.  This book will compliment the existing publications." Congratulations Mary Jane!
