Combined Compensation and Benefits Study 2013
APGO|OGQ|APGNS

By Gord White, CEO

APGO in collaboration with the Ordre des geologues du Quebec and the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Nova Scotia are pleased to offer a combined compensation and benefits study of our sector for 2013.

3,327 emails were sent out in June 2013 and 1,123 were returned in response. The survey ended on August 26, 2013. Previous surveys included Ontario and Quebec and we believe that the inclusion of Nova Scotia’s P.Geo. cohort strengthens the overall data.

Please click the link for 3 page executive summary of the survey. APGO offers the complete 109 page survey free of charge to all APGO members in good standing who are in a P.Geo. (Ltd, Temp, Ret.) or Geoscientist in Training category upon request. Requests may be made by email to Marilen Miguel, mmiguel@apgo.net. Please include your full name and APGO membership number.

Our thanks go to the APGO members who contributed their data to this survey. In past years the APGO has charged a fee for the complete survey but this year, the APGO Council elected to offer the full survey free of charge (some restrictions) with the hope that even more members having seen the quality of the data, will participate in future surveys.

Non-members of APGO may purchase the complete survey for $150 + HST by contacting mmiguel@apgo.net.
