In 2010 Council decided it was time to renew its strategic direction for the next few years through a robust strategic planning process involving Council, staff, and members. In preparation for a strategic planning meeting in the Spring of 2011, APGO consulted its stakeholders. APGO’s members and Council members completed online surveys, APGO’s Executive Director/Registrar participated in an interview and staff participated in a focus group.

The APGO 2011 to 2014 Strategic Plan Document, found at the following link, is the result of this strategic planning process. This document will provide guidance to the Association in the coming years. As the Association progresses with the identified goals in the plan, updates will be provided on this site. APGO members are encouraged to review the document and to participate as volunteers on APGO committees which may be of interest. Your involvement will help the Association move toward successful completion the strategic plan goals in the interest of all professional geoscience stakeholders.

APGO Strategic Plan – 2011 to 2014
