A student member is defined by PGO as an applicant enrolled in a full-time geoscience degree program at a Canadian University, or an equivalent program at another institution recognised by PGO.
 
There are numerous benefits to becoming a student member, including receiving notifications of geoscience events (provincial, across Canada, and world-wide), emails and updates about PGO and other topics relevant to geoscience, access to networking events with other professional geoscientists, and access to a knowledge requirement toolkit to help guide you in how you will fulfill the knowledge requirements.

Once you submit the application, you will receive an email providing you with details of your student membership. Student membership is free and will continue until your degree completion date. Please inform PGO if your graduation date has been delayed and you wish to maintain your student membership.
